About Retatrutide

Retatrutide (LY3437943) is Eli Lilly's investigational triple agonist, a single peptide engineered to activate the GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon receptors simultaneously. It is currently the most requested metabolic research compound in the UK, following phase 2 results that reported the largest weight reductions seen in an obesity trial to date.

Research areas

Incretin-receptor pharmacology across all three target receptors; energy-expenditure and appetite-signalling models; and comparative studies against single (semaglutide) and dual (tirzepatide) agonists. Retatrutide remains investigational, it is in phase 3 trials and holds no MHRA or FDA marketing authorisation.
