1. Dispatch and delivery
| What to expect | |
|---|---|
| Cut-off | Orders placed and paid before 2pm on a business day (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays) are dispatched the same day. Anything later goes out the next business day. |
| Service | Royal Mail Tracked 24, fully tracked, usually the next working day after dispatch. |
| Cost | £4.99, or free on orders over £80. |
| Where | The United Kingdom only. We do not ship abroad, and checkout will not accept a non-UK address. |
| Backstop | If anything goes wrong at our end, we will still deliver within 30 days of your order, or refund you in full. |
We email you when your order is dispatched. Delivery estimates are estimates: the carrier occasionally has a bad week, and we would rather say so than pretend a next-day service is a guarantee. If your parcel has not arrived when it should have, tell us and we will chase it.
Nothing ships until payment has cleared. If you paid by bank transfer, the clock starts when the money reaches us, not when the order was placed.
2. Packaging
Parcels are plain and discreet. There is nothing on the outside naming the contents, and the sender is the trading name only.
Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides are stable at ambient temperature for normal transit periods, which is why they can travel by standard tracked post rather than on ice. Vials still ship in insulated, protective packaging to guard against heat spikes and knocks.
Store them properly once they arrive: -20°C long term, 4°C for short periods, away from light and moisture. Storage guidance is printed on each vial and repeated on every product page. A peptide left on a warm windowsill for a fortnight is not a faulty peptide.
3. Changing your mind: 14 days
If you are a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel an online order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. This is your right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and it is not something we grant or can withdraw.
- Tell us within 14 days of delivery. Email support@pepts.co.uk or use the contact form with your order number and which items you are cancelling. Any clear statement will do; the form below is optional.
- Send the goods back within 14 days of telling us, to the return address we give you when you get in touch. Return postage is at your cost unless the item was faulty, damaged or wrong. Use a tracked service and keep the receipt: until it reaches us, the parcel is your risk.
- We refund within 14 days of the goods arriving back with us, or of you showing us proof of postage, whichever is sooner. It goes back the way you paid.
What comes back to you. The price of the returned goods, plus the standard delivery charge you paid on the original order if you cancelled all of it. If you cancel only part of an order, we refund the goods but not the delivery. The free research vial comes into it too. If you cancel the whole order, the vial comes back with it. If you return part of an order so that what you keep falls below £120, either send the research vial back unopened or keep it, in which case we deduct the price it sells for on this site from your refund.
Opened vials cannot be returned. Our vials are sealed sterile under a crimped cap. Once that seal is broken the contents can never be certified unadulterated again, and can never be sold to anybody else, so regulation 28(3)(b) takes them outside the cancellation right: sealed goods that are not suitable for return once unsealed, for reasons of health protection and hygiene. Sealed, undamaged vials are fine and come back in the ordinary way.
Buying for a business? The 14-day right is a consumer right and does not apply, but we normally accept sealed vials back on the same timescale as a matter of goodwill. Agree it with us first. See the terms of sale.
4. Faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered
This is different from changing your mind, and it is on us. Tell us as soon as you notice, with your order number, the batch number from the vial, and a photo if the problem can be seen.
- Within 30 days of delivery you can reject faulty goods outright and have all your money back.
- After that, and for up to six months, we will replace or repair, and if that does not put it right you can have most or all of your money back.
- We pay the return postage on anything faulty, damaged or wrongly supplied. Always.
These are your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and we do not limit them. If what you received does not match what you ordered, that is exactly the sort of thing we want to hear about: get in touch.
5. Model cancellation form
You do not have to use this. Any clear statement that you are cancelling is enough, and an email saying so is the fastest route. It is here because the regulations require us to make it available, and because some people would rather fill in a form than compose a sentence.
