About Tirzepatide

Tirzepatide is a 39-amino-acid dual agonist of the GIP and GLP-1 receptors, built on the native GIP sequence rather than on GLP-1. The same molecule is licensed as a prescription medicine by Eli Lilly and sold as Mounjaro, and in the United States also as Zepbound. Those are regulated medicines; the vial on this page is neither one of them nor a medicine of any kind, it is research-grade material supplied for laboratory work. It is among the most studied metabolic peptides of the decade, with an extensive published clinical programme (SURPASS, SURMOUNT).
