About Tirzepatide

Tirzepatide is a 39-amino-acid dual agonist of the GIP and GLP-1 receptors, built on the native GIP sequence rather than on GLP-1. The same molecule is licensed as a prescription medicine by Eli Lilly and sold as Mounjaro, and in the United States also as Zepbound. Those are regulated medicines; the vial on this page is neither one of them nor a medicine of any kind, it is research-grade material supplied for laboratory work. It is among the most studied metabolic peptides of the decade, with an extensive published clinical programme (SURPASS, SURMOUNT).

Research areas

Dual-incretin receptor pharmacology; glycaemic-control and body-weight models; and head-to-head comparative studies against selective GLP-1 agonists. How much of the observed effect the GIP arm accounts for is still argued over in the literature, which is most of why the comparative work keeps being done. Can I change my mind and return an order?

If you are buying as a consumer, yes: you have 14 days from delivery to cancel, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Tell us within 14 days, send the sealed vials back within 14 days, and we refund the goods plus the original delivery charge within 14 days. Return postage is at your cost unless the item was faulty or wrong. Opened vials are the one exception: our vials are sealed sterile, and regulation 28(3)(b) puts sealed goods that cannot be resold once unsealed, for health and hygiene reasons, outside the cancellation right.
