About Semaglutide

Semaglutide is a long-acting GLP-1 receptor agonist and the most cited incretin peptide in the scientific literature. The same molecule is licensed as a prescription medicine by Novo Nordisk and sold under the brand names Ozempic, Wegovy and Rybelsus.
