About BPC-157 + TB-500 + GHK-Cu

Supplied as a three-component blend in a single vial, this preparation combines two synthetic peptides with one copper complex. BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide whose sequence derives from a protein found in human gastric juice. TB-500 is a synthetic version of the actin-binding region of thymosin beta-4, an endogenous protein, rather than the full-length protein itself. GHK-Cu is the naturally occurring tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine bound to copper(II). The named ratio is a reference composition, not a vial size.

Each active is included for a different proposed route to tissue repair. BPC-157 has been investigated for angiogenesis, with work linking its effects to VEGFR2 activation and upregulation in endothelial cells [1][2]. TB-500 and thymosin beta-4 have been studied for actin sequestration, cell migration and wound closure across musculoskeletal and soft tissue models [3]. GHK-Cu has been examined as a copper carrier with reported influence on collagen and extracellular matrix turnover in skin. The rationale for combining them is that the three act on separate steps of repair; that rationale has not itself been tested in published work.

The evidence base is almost entirely preclinical. BPC-157 findings come largely from rodent injury models and cell work, with no substantial published human trial data [1]. Thymosin beta-4 literature includes cell and animal studies alongside a limited clinical record, and reviews describe the human picture as unsettled [3]. GHK-Cu has the longest topical and cosmetic research history of the three, though systemic data are thin. None of the three is an approved medicine, and BPC-157 and TB-500 fall under WADA prohibitions in sport. No peer-reviewed study of the blend as sold exists.

One practical note

GHK-Cu gives the reconstituted material a blue colour from the copper complex, which is expected and not a sign of contamination.
