About BPC-157 + TB-500

Two synthetic peptides supplied together in a single vial, at a reference ratio rather than a fixed vial size. BPC-157 is a pentadecapeptide, a 15-amino-acid sequence corresponding to part of a protein isolated from human gastric juice [1]. TB-500 is a synthetic version of a short actin-binding region of thymosin beta-4, a 43-amino-acid protein found in most mammalian cells and in platelets [2]. Neither active is an approved medicine in the UK or elsewhere.

Both components are studied in the same area, tissue repair, which is why they are combined. Work on the pentadecapeptide has focused on tendon, ligament, muscle and gut healing in animals; the mechanism proposed involves VEGFR2 signalling and the nitric oxide system, with downstream effects on angiogenesis and fibroblast migration [3][4]. Research on the thymosin fragment centres on actin sequestering, which is linked in cell work to cell migration and new vessel formation [2]. The stated rationale for the blend is that one line of research concerns growth-factor signalling and the other the cytoskeleton. The combination itself has not been characterised in published studies.

Evidence for the pentadecapeptide is overwhelmingly preclinical, dominated by rodent models from a small number of groups, and reviews describe human data as scarce and the translational picture as unsettled [1][5]. Thymosin beta-4 has been examined in clinical work, but the truncated fragment sold as TB-500 has not been studied to the same degree [2]. No trial has tested the two together. Anti-doping authorities prohibit BPC-157 at all times as a non-approved substance, and thymosin beta-4 is also banned in sport.

One point of interest for handling

The pentadecapeptide is reported to resist degradation in gastric juice, which is unusual for a peptide of its size and underlies much of the oral-dosing research in animals [4].

How every batch is tested

  1. 1Synthesised to specSynthesised to a ≥99% purity specification and filled as lyophilized powder into sealed glass vials.
  2. 2Independently testedEvery production batch goes to an independent analytical laboratory: HPLC quantifies purity, LC-MS confirms identity.
  3. 3Certificate publishedThe batch certificate is published in our COA hub and the batch number is printed on the vial. Batches under 99% are rejected.
  4. 4Verifiable by youType the batch number from your vial into the verifier and read the purity result, the lab and the test date.
