About Alcohol Pads 75% (3 × 6 cm)

Alcohol Pads 75% are individually sealed, ready-to-use pads for routine laboratory preparation. Each pad measures 3 × 6 cm. Each sachet contains one pad saturated with 75% ethyl alcohol, keeping the remaining pads sealed until they are needed.

How they are sold

By the pad, in tens. Choose 10, 20 or 50 individually wrapped pads, or any count in tens up to 90; 20 or more cost less per pad, and 50 or more less again. Each pad has its own sealed compartment, including where two sachets are joined along a perforated seam.

Used for

Wiping small, alcohol-compatible surfaces and equipment during laboratory preparation, in line with your laboratory procedures. Open a sachet only when needed and discard the pad after a single use. Do not use a pad if its sachet is open or damaged.

Storage guidance

Keep the sachets sealed in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat and ignition sources.

How fast is UK delivery?

Orders placed and paid before 2pm on a business day (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays) are dispatched the same day via Royal Mail Tracked 24 in discreet, protective packaging, and arrive usually the next working day after dispatch. Standard shipping is £4.99, free on orders over £80, and orders over £120 arrive with a free research vial. The minimum order is £15, before delivery. We ship within the United Kingdom only.

Can I change my mind and return an order?

If you are buying as a consumer, yes: you have 14 days from delivery to cancel, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Tell us within 14 days, send the sealed vials back within 14 days, and we refund the goods plus the original delivery charge within 14 days. Return postage is at your cost unless the item was faulty or wrong. Opened vials are the one exception: our vials are sealed sterile, and regulation 28(3)(b) puts sealed goods that cannot be resold once unsealed, for health and hygiene reasons, outside the cancellation right.
