About Epithalon

Epithalon (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly, also written Epitalon) is a synthetic tetrapeptide based on epithalamin, a bovine pineal-gland extract studied for decades by the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology.

Research areas

Telomerase activity in cultured human cells; circadian rhythm and melatonin regulation in aged animals; and lifespan studies in rodent and insect models. It is one of the core compounds in peptide-bioregulation aging research.
